Whoaa ! .. what’s this BUSS stuff about: BUSS … looks a bit like Swedish or Norwegian to me! (the Buss part) .. and the message – FREE PARKING – RIDE THE BUSS – geez .. it’s February and COLD .. and parking is free at the inlet parking lot and everywhere else in Ocean City Md in February! (inserted April 19th, 2006 – Thanks .. someone has corrected the spelling – it may seem like a minor thing but not really as it’s a reflection on the City) This sign, which stands tall on Coastal Hwy in Ocean City MD .. at 101st St .. is misspelled on both the north and south sides of the sign .. it’s certainly a good billboard sign message if it’s June or July to promote the local park and ride and to leave the driving to us (the bus) , eliminate parking meter fees, and avoid the downtown parking hassle. However, this is February and the buses are empty and they only run every 1/2 hour now anyhow, and the parking lots at the inlet are empty? How about promoting the upcoming St Patrick’s Day Parade instead! .. and please make sure the spell checker works on the sign board.
