The past two Sundays I have visited the Farmers Market in Ocean City MD at the corner of 142nd St and Coastal Hwy, Ocean City MD. Our locally grown Maryland produce … brought to us freshly harvested vegetables and fruit from the field is now arriving and as the summer progresses, the variety only gets better!
Today I brought home some Swiss Chard, fresh Garlic, green Onions, Strawberries, Peas, and beautiful Broccoli. The Farmers Market is a ready source of the freshest locally grown produce you will find in Ocean City MD. Soon they will have local sweet corn and tomatoes, peppers, and most any other vegetable you would desire. If you are a local resident, vacationer or even a local restaurant you would be missing something if you didn’t visit the Farmers Market during the growing season. Oh! Locally grown peaches will arrive in later July, and there are also home grown flowers and plants available for purchase to beautify your yard, outdoor deck, or condo’s balcony.
