LOCATED on the bayside at 125th St. you will find ample free parking and easy access to the FREE amenities and nature provided.
The playground area has picnic benches and portable restrooms. The kids can play while Mom and Dad enjoy the outdoors and serene nature. There are also very nice walking or biking trails for exercise. THe kids can even use the paths for skateboarding. The extended pier stretches out into the Assawoman Bay and gets one closer to our natural habitat. Catch the view at sunset for a special treat and bring your camera to take pictures of the sunset.
You will enjoy viewing the ducks on the inner lagoon, Egrets and Heron’s feeding in the marshy grass on the bayside, and a pleasant experience for everyone, young and old. The facilities are free to the public and feature a large FREE parking lot for cars, but the city bus system can easily bring everyone to 125th St and Coastal Hwy so you only have a 1 block walk to the Northside Park in Ocean City MD.. During the summer months, the Town of Ocean City MD features ” Sundaes in the Park ” at Northside. July into August during the summer, live musical entertainment, childrens activities and of course for a small fee make your own ice cream sundae.
