Whoaa ! .. what’s this BUSS stuff about: BUSS … looks a bit like Swedish or Norwegian to me! (the Buss part) .. and the message – FREE PARKING – RIDE THE BUSS – geez .. it’s February and COLD .. and parking is free at the inlet parking lot and everywhere else in Ocean City Md in February! Are you heading for Ocean City MD between Feb 21 and May 15th 2006? This is a traveler alert. If you normally travel via Rte 90 East Bound incoming to Ocean City MD it is closed. UPDATE: CONSTRUCTION COMPLETED – Rte 90 East traffic is open to traffic March 31, 2006. 
The cab industry in Ocean City MD has grown rapidly over the past 5 years. This has certainly been a welcome alternative means of transportation, but has brought with it some elements of cause for concern. 
Hear Ye! Hear Ye! The Town of Ocean City MD renews $50,000 print, radio and local tv contract to promote the bus transportation system in Ocean City MD. (as written in a local newspaper Feb 3, 2006). A review of the Town web site revealed that the actual minutes from that council meeting of Feb 2, 2006 are not yet posted on their web site. 
AN IDEA! Summer seasonal workers, who are generally college students and the majority from Eastern Europe and Russia, usually arrive in Ocean City MD without having advantage of obtaining any advance pre-arrival information.
